I've got a few impoundments close by which I would like to try. Need advice on methods ,lure types, etc for catching Redfin.... Neil.

Personally Neil I have never fished for redfin, would have no idea on what they like but my best advice would to be to ask as many locals as possible next time you visit the local tackle shop and get the general consensus. Chances are a few will know what they are talking about and very soon you will see some repetition.
