Can't go pass Bass Vampires, Clousers and Deceiver style flies as a quick stab..... Colours???? Preference and confidence in colour combinations. Fished with sinking lines slow and fast types matching fly type/weight and water column depth that you targeting where the fish are holding. Surface fishing my favourite is the red and black dalhberg.... Gurglers are quicker easier to tie and do the same damage.

Not sure at the local shops if they have any, usually tie my own..
