From my blurred festive season memory I think it was the 28th of Dec, I fished the banks of the Manning River upstream from Mount George from about 6.30 am till 9. I fished the banks so I get get to some pools upstream of some rapids that canoes cannot get up. I think this strategy paid off as the lower pool seemed to be flogged a bit over Christmas, I managed to get 3 good fish and a few small ones in the pools above the rapids.
