BrettP Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Havent posted for a couple of years, but finally have something to write about. just bought a quinnie spirit 530 and have been Fishing constantly for three weeks now. Went out this morning from berowra. Picked up some yakkas with a plan to troll for kings around barrenjoey and nearby headlands. That lasted about 5 mins until I snagged the downrigger ball and lost it. It was a cheap downrigger which came with the boat with no line counter. Trolled for a while longer until my son said he felt sick, so back to berowra creek we go in search of some tasty flatties. Picked up a three keepers in total including my sons first flatty, which he was stoked about. Got the third one on a plastic just sitting in the rod holder while cleaning the other 2.
