arpie Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hi guysJust doing some checking on legal sizes & bag limits for NSW fish & the current DPI site seems to indicate that there is no 'minimum' size for Bass or EP! It just says that you can only take 1 that is over 35cm, 2 per day & 4 in possession.Am I reading this right?I thought the minimum size was 25cm like bream or even bigger?http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/regulations/sw/sw-bag-and-sizeRoberta
Catchin Jack Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 There is no minimum size Roberta, you are reading that correctly.
zook2001 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Just to confuse things that's the saltwater limit , your allowed two of any size in stocked impoundments.
Day's Fishin Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 That is right re the bass size. Bloody stupid if you ask me. They have signs up and have done for years at the Ferry at Lower Portland. Unless a fish is a bait fish there should be a size limit. Regards Jeff
arpie Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 ......unless a fish is a bait fish, there should be a size limit ........ Agreed! I thought it was really weird! Roberta
