rockyred Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 Bit of a delayed post. Went up the coast to Wyong last weekend. Stopped off at the local petrol station and got two packets of the best hawkesbury prawns I have ever seen. On the water by 7am managed well over 20 bream between 15cm - 37cm and 1 whiting. Also lost another massive whiting just at the boat. Almost lost one of my rods when a bream smashed the bait and took the rod for a swim. Without realising I found myself in the water with the rod in my hands on to land a 26cm bream. Needless to say he was kept for dinner. Having not fished the area before decided to concentrate our efforts around the drop off just out of the river you launch the boat. This is where we found most of the fish. Sorry no pics.
