Dalucius
It's been a while since we've been fishing and yesterday was a beautiful day for it on Botany Bay. We launched at Kyeemagh Boat Ramp Reserve about 7am. It was a little choppy but calmed down to a perfect day on the Bay. We drifted at various places in the Bay without any success so we decided to anchor in a 5 - 6 metre deep area roughly in middle. With pilchard and prawns out, I finally started getting bites about 11.15 am. I ended up with 5 flathead 30 - 45cm and 1 squire. We bagged 3 flathead and threw all the undersized fish back and decided to head home and beat the arvo traffic. Geoff cleaned them and I filleted them cooking them lightly dusted in flour and seasoning then shallow frying in pan. They were great! Can't wait for our next fishing day.
