col35
Decided to do some work on our squiding technique as we have not been very successful in the past. We usually fish maybe an hour and only get 1 maybe 2 max so there must be a more productive way to get these tasty little creatures. We hit the water at 1pm and low tide was at 2pm and we planned on fishing at least 3-4 hours to get a handle on catching these buggers. Our plan was to do a lot of moving around and try to find a good location first destination for 10 mins and zip so we moved and found some nice weed in 2 metres depth the time was 2pm dead of low tide and we were doing a 100 metre drift and getting hookups each drift we didnt have to move spots again as we just kept doing the same drift and hooking up on each pass All up we managed over 20 squid the 5 pictured where all over 1kg and the coke bottle in the pic is a 1.25 litre just to give a size reference the squid jigs we used where yozuri aurie q colour kpka and a yamashita same colour basically bright orange/red i hope next time i squid i get the same luck

Pongrass18ft
Top session fellas.Plenty of feeds out of those large aircraft carriers, did you catch them all off the bottom or snare the followers also behind the one hooked which is the case most times. Chris.
