Fish Finders (lowrance,Hummingbird)? Need help

Hi Raiders,

I need a little hep. I am looking at getting a new fish finder to help me locate the fish a little easier but am very confused about it all. I know you need to spend money to get a quality product but I am on a budget but want to get the best money can buy. I have a round $500 to spend but there is so much on the market I don't know where to turn. Please help?

+1........Craig sorted me out, though I had a quite susbstantial budget (HDS7 gen 2 sounder/gps and structure scan), had answers to any questions I had, and a great price for me also. Craig also took the time to demonstrate the basic use of most of the features.

Definitely recommend PM'ing and maybe even phoning him after PM.
