It's good for rivers, dams etc... But as you said not good on the swell out in the ocean

I can just see my mate spinning for bass up the hawksburry with a mincota on the front of one.

I wonder if you anchored up if the bass would think it was a snag.

If you stay long enough maybe.

But I think it can be great, after fishing it's also good for sitting down having lunch on the water.
