Port Douglas Fishing

We are heading up to Port Douglas for a week next Monday to celebrate the boss's birthday.

Does anyone know of any guides or charter operators that will take visitors out to fish for "bread and butter" type fish in a smaller type of boat?. That is, not fish that require too much physical effort which I am forbidden to take part in at present.

There are three estuary charter operators who fish Port Douglas's Dickson inlet and surrounds. There is also one very good operator up on the Daintree river. Port Douglas is littered with thier pamphlets and you can usually book a day or two in advance.
