I was up there once when I was in my teens so I didn't manage to get a fish in but I did swim across the channel near the beach where the islands are in the middle. Massively strong current so fishing is probably not the best there but if you go off the beach near there I can't see why you wouldn't get into something. I didn't manage to get to Merimbula due to stupid car issues so I am here keeping an eye on your house for you. I saw a few people taking some things out but I figured they were your family borrowing your TV, lounge setting and the rest of your fishing gear.
