Geoff
Weiry I have an inline tap on mine to direct water to the deck wash. If turned the wrong way it cut off supply to both the D.W & tank. Perhaps a tape could be installed as a safety device Regards Geoff

Ken A
My Hornet had taps inside the live wells. I just turned the tap off in the one I wanted to use for storage.
Guest Jocool
Like Ken said, you may find that the nozzle that squirts water into the tank is adjustable. I have that set-up on my boat. Just turn the nozzle to adjust flow rate, or turn it of completely.
