Dave_ Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 G'day again Raiders, I had 2 hours off work this morning to attend a meeting so I left work at 8am but I got a phone call saying the meeting had been pushed back an hour. I was wondering what to do and I definitely wasn't going back to work. I looked over and seen that I still had my rod in the car so I checked the Barometer and it read 1023! I went straight down the river but by this time of the day the shaded areas on the water were hard to come by but what shade was there had plenty of Bass hiding in it. I smashed a few on the river2sea beetle with the biggest being 36cm and the smallest at 30cm, one of them was really black, looked awesome. Then I went back to work and done a 16hr shift, what a day. Between jobs today I stopped down at the parra river near the refinery and watched some thing giving a school of mullet a hard time.
