benm
Got this last sunday at Port Kembla on a live yakka. These two species seem impossible to differentiate. Had a yellow vertical stripe and golden reflection that doesn't show in this photo.

0 NaClH2OK9
There seems to be a lot of this about. I had the same question on Sunday. Once given a pointer buy other raiders I managed to steer my research. Count the dorsal rays. Amber jack has 32-33 samson 23-25 mine looked almost black and white when I brought it in. Nice fighting fish I thought. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Edited February 24, 2014 by Cluster13
