tommychucka
We also found a pretty good fish trap that we ended up having to ourselves, picking up a dollie or two on every pass
tasksta
Yes plenty of dollies at the waverider but very tentative, would only touch unweighted baits. We kept 5 each for a feed. Got a beauty on floated livey. Callsign is dirty Nelly...
boattart
We fished Tuesday from Port Hacking. Had to be home early so took some smaller gear and headed to the Hacking FAD. First pass was taken by a spearfishermen so trolled to the shelf where water hit 25.0 but murky green and dirty. Back to the FAD and diver had left so got a half dozen legal Dollies and lost one good one then started to troll in around 12.30. A mile or so inside hooked a nice Blue that grabbed a small lure but luckily on 37kg gear. Did all the usual Blue Marlin craziness and then settled deep for an hour before we could get the tag in. Having gone none from 8 on marlin from my boat in the last few weeks this was the first to stick and at 160-170kg and a first marlin for DTROJAN was a nice way to christen the boat. Back at the marina and tied up by 3.20pm. Edited March 12, 2014 by boattart

Hakuna Matata II
Apart from getting them to the boat and tagging them the best part HAS to be watching the hit on a lure. We were lucky enough to get it on film. Hopefully this is a clearer version of tommychuckas clip in slowmo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45qSd9qdy3Y
