hookerbruce
I went fishing with my brother and grandpa today and caught my biggest ever fish. I think it is the biggest fish in the whole world and is as fast as a racing car. My brother caught 2 bream as well. We will have them for tea tomorrow. Caught on 2 kilo outfits on pilchard bait at the top of the tide in shallow water.

hookerbruce
I dont wanna be wishing my young fellas life away but i really cant wait till my 10 month old is ready to turn a reel!!! My grandsons are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 they seem to be able to co-ordinate the rod lifting and handle winding from about 2. They actually have started fishing in ansa sportfishing comps, this means we can't touch the rod or line or help them once they hook the fish. They started on 2kg outfits the 4 1/2yo is now using 1 kg quite well and has won a couple of under 10 comps and a junior comp (under 16). Probably because not many fish were caught. I'm looking forward to a few years time when they can pull my anchor up.
