AGP Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Hi Raiders, Just got back from a Barra trip up to Peter Faust. Have fished the location 2 years ago for a 91cm fish and was keen to crack the magic metre mark. Got lucky with light winds around the moon and although they were hard work they were solid fish. Fished for 3 days and landed 6 in total and lost many more as is the case when Barra fishing. On the first day just after sunrise I landed this 112cm fish casting a 15cm hardbody tight into the semi submerged trees. She took to the air then screamed braid off and wrapped me around a snag. Theres nothing worse than feeling your braid rub against the timber but after some negotiating with the electric we had her. The other fish landed were 2 at 97cms and a 92cm that took a lure from the surface. Other than that 2 rats at 60cm.Awesome trip at an awesome place!
