Squid in the Wind

Headed out mid morning today to some rocks trying to get myself a feed of calamari. The wind made it really difficult getting a cast into the right spots so had to wait till the wind died off for a few seconds to quickly make a big cast. On my first cast into the "red zone" got hit immediately by a nice calamari who had a bigger one trying to attack it from the back, at this point I panicked and didn't know what to do since there was no one with me who could throw a jig at the second one so I quickly brought it up and cast it where the bigger one was but it had gone. After this it got abit tough with getting snagged up from the wind pushing my line into the wrong places. Decided to change jig and my first cast again into the "red zone" got hit immediately, this one was only hooked by one tentacle so had to wash it up with a wave, another nice calamari. After this the wind became really annoying so I packed up and left with two nice inkers in the eski.
