Shaggytrevally Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Gday fellow fishers Anyone know where to find out how safe the fish in botany bay and Georges river are to eat, I know from chipping Norton ramp back they say not to eat the fish and cook river. As they had a write up in the paper last week re the metals found in oysters in the bay since the overflow at kurnell! Linc Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 I just fed my family fish and chips fresh from the bay and we're still kicking The oil spill was apparently cleaned up promptly and had no effect on the water quality.
