Bracey
Hadn't been for a fish for 2 months. Weather was looking good but I was having trouble deciding where to go. I find spring a dilemma. Go wide or inshore reefs?? There didn't seem to be many reports of kings around but I decided to give Texas Reef one last shot for the season. Glad I did. Got 2 72cm on jigs right on the tide change then it went dead. Caught a Baracouda which was a first. Gave up on the jigs and switched to liveys. One rod went off then the other screamed off. I switched to the one having line stripped off it. That turned into a 92cm king. Went back to the other which turned out to be a Johndory. Also another first. Overall a great day.
