Scratchie
G'day raiders, This was pulled on the boat off Darwin and released of course but I was not convinced it was a grey nurse. Sorry there are no photos of its head but I wasn't game to get near it! Cheers scratchie!!!
0 Jocler
Leopard shark going by the picture. They also have 2 fins along the back, one where you would expect on a shark, the dorsal one, and then one further back along the tail. The picture seems to show that as well. 0 boattart
Definitely not a grey nurse. I would say a leopard shark but not a great photo to be sure.

0 Paikea
A Grey Nurse has two dorsal fins of approx equal size and pointed teeth. They are easy to distinguish from any other shark species just by the Dorsal fins. Cheers Paikea
0 Scratchie
Between us anglers on the boat, we've done some research and it appears to be a juvenile grey nurse! So the skipper was correct. Leopard sharks have a total different appearance.
