Towlersbay boy Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Hi Raiders Fished a few spots between Fowl ground and 30-45M area off long reef for snapper on the plastics. Insane amount of Samson fish around which proved worrying at times fishing 10lb braid. Went back to 20lb set up and manage to land a few up to 3kg. After playing thread the needle through 4 or 5 whales swimming around found some snapper closer in out from Freshwater. Had some fun on the lighter gear with the biggest just touching 65cm. It like most of the fish I have been getting had small leather jackets in its guts and was taken on a leather jacket look alike plastic.
