manhands
Beautiful flat day, was aiming for Kings early but the livies weren't too forthcoming so we hit the faithful Flatty drift. Ended up bagging out, all were nice and fat and we got a Gummy as bonus. Love it.

fat_souvlaki
Well done there!! Ive been itching to get a gummy on the boat! What were you using? Soft plastics? Regards, John
manhands
Was using one of those new style jigs with both hard body and a soft plastic skirt over hooks as well as bait rigs, but the Gummy took a standard paternoster- nearly straightened the circle hook. Hundgie
Great catch...well done Just a heads up about new bag limits that were bought in on 3rd Nov http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/changes-to-recreational-fishing-rules-commencing-3-november-2014 I would think not many people know about this as i was told buy a friend and have seen no advertising for it at all. Hundgie
Yeah its alittle confusing. ..bag limit of 10 so 10 per person, and 20 in posetion??? Does that mean max of 20 onboard no matter how many anglers are on board??
Scratchie
Yeah its alittle confusing. ..bag limit of 10 so 10 per person, and 20 in posetion??? Does that mean max of 20 onboard no matter how many anglers are on board?? The bag limit is 10 per person and possession limit is 20. The only boat limit that applies is to gemfish which is 10 for the boat. Yes, the new rules are a bit confusing so here is the link with regards to bag, possession and boat limits............ http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/regulations/sw/sw-bag-and-size/about-bag-and-size-limits Cheers scratchie!!!
