big Neil
I have been to the Murrumbidgee 4 times during the first week of the new Murray Cod season and the river has been running quite fast, with reasonably high water levels. Have caught 6 xTrout Cod and18 x Murray Cod...the biggest being legal size 59 cms. All fish were released to live another day. Big Neil. Most caught using cheese, yabbies and shrimps. Lizardboy
Thanks for the report Neil sounds well worth the effort, any pics? I was thinking of doing a trip this weekend to the bidgee around Canberra hiking/with packrafts but I think the river might be a bit high with all the rain in the last week, any idea? Cheers, Gus
pomey_git
Nice Neil, good to see both species are firing Hey Lizard. We have had a few sessions around Canberra. The water is high around Kambah, but not running too fast. Good luck
