joymariathas Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Hi Guys, so i left sydney to Port douglas on my own just for some fishing (a random trip). I know this forum is just for NSW but i have to show you guys what i caught because im so excited. went on the boat yesterday at port douglas went about 20miles offshore, on the run in tide, the surface action was incredible !!! caught a golden trev, spotted trev, and heaps more. also caught a 30+kg GT !!! the they way these fish attack the stick baits is so aggressive ! was always working the soft plastics and the stick baits. pics are below Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

joymariathas Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share Posted December 9, 2014 persistence had paid off because all morning from 7 till about 130 we were just catching trout and trevs. but on the runout when the current started working thats when all hell broke loose. the GTs were going nuts dropped heaps tho.
