boattart Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 So last week I took my son Hayden on a trip from Cairns to Hamilton from Monday to Friday fishing our way down on a 49ft marlin boat as they worked their way home to the Gold Coast after the heavy tackle season. He managed to tick many first and biggest fish off his list including his first every billfish. Despite raising a few sails that I was thinking would be the best to target he started in a big way with a 150 lb Blue Marlin on 30 lb line with just 60lb wind on and 2 foot of light wire.
