PRED-ATOR
Hi Guys, had a quick session around balmain ferry wharf. H ave never fished here before. Tried for bream on smaller plastics, they were hitting it but with no conviction. Switched to a larger plastic and more aggressive retrieve. This bream crashed it. Was really chunky too. Happy new year to all, Cheers.

slam354
Quite surprising mate.So much for the theory that one must use light jig heads and small plastics for the bream.where you fishing deep water retrieve method and line class and most importantly jig size an type of plastic looks like at least 1/4 oz. steve Edited January 6, 2015 by slam354
PRED-ATOR
From memory it was a 1/8. Fishing 6 - 8 foot of water. Not sure what a deep water retrieve method is but i was using a double hop/3 winds of the reel technique. and no dead sticking. Line is 4lb fire line on 10lb leader.
