Scratchie
G'day raiders, Just a quick report from port over the past week. There has been plenty of whiting on the chew and I managed to take the relos out for a day and we bagged 40 in about 3hrs. The flatties have been hard to come by atm but we managed a few. A mate and fellow raider headed out wide with a break in the strong North Easters we've been having and scored a cracking dolly at the fad. The water out there was 23.8. I got out this morning with the bro in law and the weather was nowhere near as predicted and we were nearly blown off the water. We still landed a few bonito and tailor on the troll with a few pan sized snapper in the mix. The water at the heads was 21.7. Plenty of bait around and it's great to see the bonnies turn up. I had a solid king follow my livey on the wind in but no hook up. Squid are plentiful in all the usual areas and are pretty hard to miss. Enjoy your holidays and stay safe! Cheers scratchie!!!
