mii11x Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 So I am thinking of swapping out my braid for mono on one of my jew reels, however all my reels have braid so I am not sure what brands/models of braid are decent these days. night_rider Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) I loaded up one of my 4500 reels with Berkely 20lb clear mono.. Handled a 60cm Jewie no problems, have also used it for kings out in the harbour caught up to about 60cm also with no issues. They weren't monster fish but just my 2c.
