    Platypus Pink Low Stretch 15kg.
  3. An 8/0 in line circle hook pinned from underneath the jaw and comming out between the eyes and mouth is the best.
  4. G'day Mark. Before you start venturing off shore or buy a sounder, make sure you have a decent anchor, chain and plenty of decent rope incase something happens to go wrong. Especially when fishing in close with onshore wind. Regards Nick.
  5. G'day , You can't beat a light Noreasterly breeze and a down hill Current.
  6. Rough up both surfaces as best you can and apply 24hr Araldite to glue it together. Use tape to hold it in place overnight.
  7. Never go boating without an anchor.
  8. Gday Fishos, How about starting a separate Scentblazer forum topic ?
  9. G'day All, I catch heaps of large snapper down here at Batemans Bay and most of them look like NZ snapper, ie no large lump on their head. When I fish up north, around Coffs I find smaller fish, say 2 to 4kg have quite large lumps on their noggins . The ones with a small hump down here are mostly male and very healthy.
  10. Great to see you do it with your young fellers. My Pop taught me and I taught my Boys, there is nothing better than to catch quality fish with the young ones. They remember it for life, I know I have.
  11. I agree , it's all about more fines coming from our communist Government.I have worked on and under the water for most of my life and have wittnessed the death of two gentlemen whom were trapped in their sunken boat by their life jackets. I have also been fined for no life jacket whilst wearing a full wetsuit, which needs 10 kg of lead belt to be worn to be able to dive below the surface.
  12. Gday Higgs, I would stick it on the starboard side in line and level with the second strake
  13. Gday Cam, the best way to look after your back is remove the seat and stand up when under way.
  14. Gday predator check out Lazer Craft. I owned a 560 for about 7 years which I used as an abalone boat and also for fishing. They are built like a tank, the welding is perfect and they ride better than most other plate vessels. Trim tabs would make a major difference to any deep vee plate boat as they must ride level for a smooth ride. In having said that, I prefer my 19R Haines Hunter to any plate boat for perfect handling in any weather.
  15. Gday Brett, Make sure there is no play in your wheel bearings first, not tight though just nip the nut up on the bearing untill you can just feei movement when you hold the tyre top & bottom and wriggle it. Then use a centre punch and make 6 or so indents around the perimiter of the face of the housing that that holds the bearing buddy, so as to flare the inside face out in those positions which act as a locking tab. Regards Nick
