0 Ojay Samson Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 So it seems like this fish goes by a few names, including:Painted Sweetlip, Slate(y) bream, Blackall, & best of all, a Mother In Law Fish (MILF... haha). Thanks for the clues raiders, seems like this fish is lost as it seems to belong in the warmer queensland waters.Cheers Raiders, a pleasure as always.
0 Belligero Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Probably wrong but looks like a black drummer
0 night_rider Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Looks like a black mowie to me... Found a page with a photo that almost matches exactly. Especially the lips + spots on tail. http://www.herveybaydownunder.com.au/fish_species.htm Thoughts?
0 ddaniel Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I'm pretty sure it's known as a blackall or mother in law as we used to call em. Usually found in warmer waters, northern nsw and up.
0 Guest no one Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Really... MILF? man... you know how to get us younger lads to look at a thread!
