APEX Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hey fella's! Just wanted to see if I could get any info on where to go to attempt to bag my first kingie! Ive seen them going around harbour wharfs but the rivercats come out and push them out pretty quick. Never actually gone out to chase kings apart from Jervis Bay throwing out pillies without much success...Thinking of cliffton gardens or somewhere in the harbour, Land based.. Might get the uncle to take out his boat next week and have a shot at the bay or harbour but going out on Sunday solo to have a go. Thanks guys would appreciate any feedback! Cheers, Nicko.
dynabolt Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Clifton gardens wharf is a good place but very crowded. I have seen quite a few successes there. Not all legal size mind you... But a kingie nonetheless
gianniz Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 try Greenwich wharf and surroundings. pretty popular place for kingies
mitchie18092 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Most jetties on the south eastern side of the harbour have been producing. Find one with deep water, moorings and preferably no ferry traffic and you will be in with a good chance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
