Drifted Mansion bay for a couple of the flatties which fell for salted yakka fillets. Anchored at the pink house and berleyed for the bream/trevally which took half pillys. Drifted around Lilly Pilly north sandflats for the other flattys on nippers. All fish taken on my usual gear consisting of 8lb mono down to a running sinker rig topped off with a 1/0 bait keeper hook. Cheers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Was thinking of heading out this morning (don't normally fish on a weekend) but needed the sleep in. With Audley Weir flooding yesterday, the water in the broadwater area (from Lilli Pilli to Gymea Bay) would have had some colour in it, and the kingies would HAVE BEEN ON THE BITE.
