G'day raiders

Today me Gianni (thefisherman6784) and Jordan (sydney_fisho) headed out on the harbour to chase what ever we could catch we headed out and spotted a bust up right behind the opera house . What happend after was about 2 hours of the most fun you could even have we caught frigates big and small a few mac tuna and some good sized tailor a nice salmon we also caught massive yakkas and slimies we would of caught it least 40 frigate mackerels they were very where. A couple if times the bait would a take cover around our boat and fish would come through and smash it we saw some good sized kingies around but they couldn't get to our lures before the other fish. All fish were caught on a range of small SP's and super light gear. I took some pics of the bust ups and some fish

After all of that was over we moved on we tried a few markers around the naval base for one nice flatty that hit a 5inch jerk shad that I had mid water ripping back it was 45cm

After that we moved further down the harbour and found another bust up of frigates we landed about another 10 before moving on

We went over to Clifton gardens and once again found another bust up this time bonito and frigates we caught a few frigates before Gianni hooked and landed a good bonito of 50cm there were a lot of boats fishing the bust up so we moved on to find some more peaceful water.

We decided to try and catch some squid we headed over to the inside of south head and Jordan quickly pulled one we tried abit longer but had no more luck so we moved again.

While heading up the harbour to locate more bust ups we spotted a few boats pulling kingies in I deployed the live squid on my heavy gear and told Jordan to take the rod if it hooked up it Didn't take long and the rod was buckled over Gianni picked up the rod and handed it to Jordan it was a big fish it ran straight into the marker and Jordan locked the drag it was very big taking a full locked drag with no issue unluckily he pulled the hooks.

Not long after Jordan hooked up again this time on a plastic we drove away from the maker and eventually landed the kingfish Jordan's second ever kingfish and first on a lure unluckily it was 64cm AGAIN but was a really fat and thick fish as you can see in the pics

We tied for a while more with no luck. The kingfish was caught at 12:30am which really surprised me that they were on the bite that late in the day might be something to do with the rain or overcast weather anyway we moved on.

We spotted another bust up near goat island me and Jordan quickly got a double hook up on frigates before they went down

We moved into a bream spot I've been doing well at lately as Jordan wanted to catch some bream we pulled a couple of nice 30-32cm fish and got busted off by some bigger models

After that on the way home we finished at the last bust up if the day which once again was frigates

What a awesome day out one of the best in a while the harbour if packed full of fish and bait lately I've been smashing the fish in the harbour
