stevefish
Today I picked up a Loomis gl2 8500 and stradic c4 2500 combo from cash converters. As time goes on it may get a smaller reel. Without using it yet, it seems a bit "tip heavy" . I haven't used counterweights in the past, if you have experience on the subject could you add list your views. Cheers Steve
nickb111
Unrelated to your question but how much did you get them for? I've always wanted to give a baitcaster a go and that might be a way to do it!
stevefish
$150 for the whole rig, it's a long time between bargains in the hock shop though. Hopefully it's not someone's pride and joy.
nickb111
That's a pretty good deal!
marshie
Stevefish it depends on where you want the balance point to be - I like my index finger on the foregrip. You can try taping a $2 or a couple of $1 coins to the butt to change up the balance point
abecedarian
There is lead tape readily available in golf shops that's used to change the MOI of a club head. Perhaps some of that put where you need it and sealed with silicone or epoxy may work?
stevefish
Thanks guys, 20c feels good, 2x20c feels a bit much. I will have to hunt down some kind of cap that doesn't look too bad.

stevefish
Thanks I hadn't thought of crutch tips, I was thinking of bar stool caps or a pipe fitting.
