Years ago (40 at least) a big school of monster snapper busted up tight to the rocks at Avoca - madness and mayhem, dozens and dozens caught and they hardly put a dent in the school. A mate was there and brought us a couple around for the BBQ. His hands were full of spikes from where he was getting them off the hook as quick as possible and casting out again.
