Will try it in a vietnamese sweet and sour fish soup, probably the best way to cook it as it is bony.

I would be wary of leaving any fish hanging over the side of a yak. Sharks have grabbed fish hanging over the sides of boats. If a shark grabbed a fish hanging on the side of a yak, most likely would tip you out and you would be the main course.

Might be better to have a small esky or cool bag with a frozen pack or ice cubes to keep your fish fresh.

Sgt baker are awesome eating they have a double rib cage that makes them boney fish cakes soup and smoked are the best way to eat them

As for hanging on yak side, I'm on planning to have a cooler bag in the yak's hull soon.
