What aspect of the line didn't you like? I've got Fins, PP and Sunline on my spools. The heaviest braid I've got is 25lb. It's a good line, feels very strong and abrasion resistant. Also when another guy hooked what I suspect was a large ray and line was peeling off, the yellow coating was all over the guides and reel. boattart Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 I have one reel I spooled and the material fraying does exactly the same thing but I bought that cheap off eBay since then I have a 2500mt spool I got direct from shimano and it has been perfect.
