Portland Victoria is still producing big numbers of big fish daily, 10-20 fish weighing over the 100kg mark per day.

A few days ago a southern blue fin was caught and weighed in at 164kg, now holding the record.

Today a 140kg was fought and caught just out side port Phillip bay in Melbourne , which I fish every November for the snapper.

Again, it's un heard of SBT caught out side of port Phillip. While they were fighting the barrel , other boats come past , drop there spread and in minutes they had 4 way hookups.

What an insane season it's been for the SBT in Victoria. Let's hope they push to Sydney and spend a little more time here more then last season.
