Burger Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Went for a fish on Sunday with a few mates not too far from the bridge on what turned out to be a glorious Sydney day. . . sunshine and a gentle breeze. The first place we tried was very quiet only one or two very tentative touches, so a decision was taken to make a move and try another spot. Well, that turned out to be a good decision with the bite coming on quickly and while not over the top, was consistant throughout the morning. The preferred bait for the day was cabbage and we ended up with 20 odd fish between us. I was lucky enough to catch 4, returning a couple at time of capture as they were a bit too close to legal size. When we finished up keeping about 12, returning the remainder to swim for another day. Mum had hit me up previously about bringing her a fish and it made her day when I dropped over the one I kept! cheers, stu.
