Busy-livin Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 The gf and I headed down to the onsite van in lake Conjola for the weekend and had a ball. Weather on Saturday was poor light annoying rain most the day but it didn't stop us! Hit the water and headed up the lake for a relaxing arvo. I was flicking a squidgy paddle tail around and landed a 54 cm flatty! Awesome haven't had a nice flatty in the lake in months! Quick snap a kiss and back it goes nicley! A lot of undersize bream and whiting which is great to see! On the last bait ( live nippers ) the gf lands her pb whiting nice and fat! 37 from memory. Great fun on her little rod and again quick snap and back it goes! Great few hours . Stoked the lake is starting to regenerate! This morning Walked down to waters edge to find just 5 mins earlier the stake holding the boat snapped and she swinging on the rear Anchor.. Nice early morning swim to get the boat back!
