Mhawat
Lol thanks boys for the warm welcome long time reader and 1st time posting. Caught them at bellambi in the 50 m mark about 3kms south of the bridge. Used squid jigs, worked best on natural colors and best size that produced was the 3 to 3.5 g Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mhawat
Also picked up 2 snapper around mid 30s and had a bit of fun with some small kingies close to the bridge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Incredible Hull
Nick job mate! I was at Belambi last winter, drifting a live yakka around the 40m mark, rod bent a little, reeled it up and thought I had a snag or something. You wouldn't believe, a massive hugeeee southern came out, it seriously looked around 10kg, a serious sea monster. Got it close to the boat but unfortunately having a yakka pinned in the shoulder with a J hook, it just simply let go =(

Welster
Nice report those squid are a good size. Usually people on here struggle to post pics the first time. I was thinking you had it in reverse. Nice hearing about some squid from the depths.
