SP Social Day

[Papa]

Being a rusted on bait fisherman for more years than I'll own up to I just like to express my appreciation to the crew from Fishraider that put on the SP day at Georges River last Saturday.

The desire to join the liberated than no longer carry stinky baits and store them at home might gain me some 'brownie points'.

I was fortunate to join in the group that Peter (aka nbdshroom) was our guide for the day. Peter was an absolute pleasure to listen to with his detailed and logical approach to fishing with SP's. Without being too technical, emphasis on the important aspects made a lot of sense and I was able to learn so much in a short time that could have taken hours and hours of misjudged fishing on my part.

Consequently a trip to the tackle shop yesterday, a decent hit on the credit card and I'm set to put Peter's tutorial to the ultimate test.

It was good to meet up with some other 'Raiders in the flesh and and a special thanks to everyone that contributed to make this day a success.

When I get a result....I'll post some photo's.
