mully
Decided to take a day off work and go for a fish since there have been some good reports from terrigal way... Got to the Brooklyn bridge boat ramp at 6 and headed for west head for some lives.. couldn't get any and the only thing we where catching is almost legal bream... This was not the target species so we moved on to east reef, where we managed to pick up a few yakkes.. Then we headed north to texas.. There where already about 8 boats there, when we arrived.. from first drop we managed to land a couple of rats, lost many more and one solid king snapped my 15kg overhead rod.. They always say that kings will sort your gear out.. Since there was no keepers on the way home we stopped at the Flathead drifting grounds to pick up 6 blue spotted to have for dinner. Scratchie
Nice work mully. Kings will always sort your gear and your arms for that matter. Flatties are always worthy of a feed though! Well done Cheers scratchie!!!

harold
I was told by a dealer two weeks ago that Shimano say don't hold your rod at more that 60 degrees to upright or it may break.
