Kiwi
I have used Everdure. Water some down with turps. 50/50. Cover with heaps and let soak in. Leave until dry. Will take longer in this weather. Then light sand. Then 2 or 3 coats of full strength.
kingfishbig
You could also finish up by coating with a 2 part marine epoxy paint which will be compatible with the Evadure.
Oscarthebeagle
Re-did my tinnie floor last year. The guy that sold me the marine ply recommended using Bondcrete so I went with that.
kingfishbig
The good thing about epoxy is that it penetrates the wood a bit. It's important you treat all of the wood though in including screw holes as it won't dry out if water does get in. Another way is a process called sheathing where you fiberglass over the wood with epoxy resin and an epoxy compatible matt or cloth. It's more time consuming than just painting something on. Raymondo
If your yet to purchase ply, use form ply then a couple of coats of epoxy. Form ply puts up with alot of abuse and resists de laminating better than structural ply. It is also heavier if thats an issue.
