Baza246
What type of fish are caught around the port botany boat ramp rock wall? Are there squid there? And what type of bait works best? I'm limited to landbased fishing and thinking of heading down to the rock wall soon. Any tips would be appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 27, 2016 by Timh886
Pafisho08
Hi If you have a Black Fish setup you will get a few close in to the rocks at the end and bream out wide using chicken thigh pieces marinated in parmesan and garlic. Good luck Bob
Baza246
Thanks bob. I haven't got a black fish setup but I'll have a look into it and maybe change it up to give it a go. Thanks for your help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Baza246
I had the day off today and I got a few blade lures,so I thought I would check out port botany today even though wind was absolutely howling. I went to the rock wall but not to the jetty part of it due to the wind. I was trying to hide from it as much as possible. Unfortunately couldn't hide from it at all. I only stuck around for half an hour got blown away and made feeling my blade lures pretty tough. I guess I'll see how the wind is tomorrow and maybe try again.
