Inspecting/changing impellor

Here I have installed the clean baseplate,woodruff key and impellor with the keyway facing down.I've now slid the clean/lubricated impellor housing over the drive shaft and resting on the impellor.Remember earlier when we noted which way the drive shaft turned which was clock wise when viewed from the top.You want to grasp the drive shaft and turn it clockwise while pushing down on the impellor  housing to get the new straight vanes to bend and slide into the housing in the direction the pump will work later until the housing bottoms out over the locating dowels I mentioned earlier.(You can see a locating dowel in the photo).
