cos
Hi all I'm servicing my biomaster and am not sure if the top drag is wet or dry (no grease). Does anyone know?
xerotao
I would grease it. As the grease actually evenly spread heat across the washer
BrassRoots
It depends on the material used in the drag. http://www.thereeltech.com/blog/2012/07/14/drags-wet-dry/ Easiest way to find out is take it apart. Drags are easy. The inside of most reels are pretty easy too if you have patience and a pair of tweezers. cos
Sorry should have mentioned they are carbontex washers. Thanks for the link. I think I'll lightly grease the washers.
