Fish_More
Hi all Do you have a bait shop at Port Stephens you would recommend? We are coming from Mudgee and probably putting in at Little Beach or Lemon Tree and looking to get some bait before heading to Broughton Island on Friday night. Will be towing a boat, therefore want something that will be easy parking as well. Was thinking of getting some squid and pilchards and also pick up some livies on the way out. Is there anywhere up around Broughton to collect livies? Cheers Mark Edited February 21, 2017 by Fish_More spelling
Scratchie
Hi mark, the local tackle shop will be able to provide the bait. Will pm! Bait- easiest place is the n/w corner of cabbage tree island on the way to Broughton. You'll find schools of bait up there though! Just burley up! Cheers scratchie!!! robrooster
Duffs bait and tackle is connected to the servo (easy for trailer boat) in Salamander bay that has frozen squid and pillies. Also gives good advice and no-fish zone maps.

Luddystomper
Id try the local co-ops if you are looking for some real fresh stuff. Some quality white bait or squid are always a good choice
Fish_More
Thanks Luddysmper. Ended up going to Duff's. I got away from work late, therefore was late getting into Port Stephens. We gave him a call along the way and was willing to stay open a bit late for us which was much appreciated.
